ok so if you already read my last question- i forgot i wanted to know something else:
when you are inserting it, how far into you should push the outer applicator inside of you? i read the pamphlet from inside the box but it doesnt say? all the way until your fingers touch your body? the reason im asking is because on my last question someone answered and said it was only about 1 cm? that really confused me! help!!

She's right, about 1 cm then push the tampon in and pull the applicator out. If you are comfortable with your body then you may consider trying OBs they have no applicator.

when you use an applicator, you dont have to go far.. im sorry if i confused you before.. but basically you put the applicator in until your fingers touch the outside of your body. i didnt mean to say 1 cm, i meant you dont have to go far with an applicator. 1 cm was too precise. you wont do any harm whatever but to be more effective, push the applictor in until your fingers touch your body, and push the end of the applicator to push the tampon in. then remove the applictor.. hope this helps : )

Gently push the tampon into the opening, aiming for the small of your back. Stop when your fingers touch your body and the applicator, or outer tube, is completely inside the vagina.

As far as you can push it so that it is still comfortable. If you can feel it once it is in, try to do it again with another tampon because it is in wrong. It will take some practice at first but once you get it, you will be so happy you did it. And don't worry, no matter what, a tampon can't get lost or anything. It cannot go too far so there is nothing to worry about.

not very sure. going to check for you. coming right back.

By the way tell you some jokes, and the jokes goes:

-Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said.
-When did you first notice this problem?
-What problem?

One more joke:

A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

I would suggest putting the applicator in halfway and then pushing-so the tampon goes in the rest of the way then pull applicator out. Thats what I do. :-)

You have to insert it as far as it will go in easily or till it stops. That does not mean that you have to shove it in to get it into you.
Gently push it in and once you are comfortable about it being there.
