Not trying to be a doubter but have you researched Verizon as yet. The have put DSL in lots of areas now that don't have HS Cable, etc.
Go to www.verizon.com put in your telephone number and it takes a moment or so, but it will come back and tell you if it is available in your area. Who knows, you may get lucky. If you have a phone line you may be able to get some level of DSL.
Also check check the other DSL based carriers such as Sprint. Sorry can't think of the others.

unfortunately the answer is no. although some dial-up ISP's have compression available (ie. netzero and AOL TopSpeed) there is no way to actually increase the download rate of a dial-up connection beyond the 56K maximum.
