YES, Ghost do exist. I lived a house twice and the ghost that lived there tried her best to run me off. She loved my husband. She took his wedding ring and through it away. It was on his finger at the time. She loved turning on the computer and playing on it. She would cut it off if I was using it. A Friend of ours moved in the house after we moved out the first time and she messed with his wife also. She would open the doors and freak her out. One night she turned the iron on when he had a room mate before he had gotten married. So yes I do think they are real. I could hear her walk in the house. We had wooden floors and the creaked. Some people may say I am weird but I know what I have seen.

While some accept ghosts as a reality, many others are skeptical of the existence of ghosts. For example, the vast majority of the scientific community believes that ghosts, as well as other supernatural and paranormal entities, do not exist.

Skeptics often explain ghost sightings with the principle of Occam's razor, which argues that explanations should maximize parsimony with the rest of our knowledge. They may suggest that, since few to none of us have ever had an interpersonal relationship with a ghost, but most or all of us have had an experience of self-delusion or have attributed a false cause to an event, that these options should be preferred in the absence of a great abundance of evidence. They are also keen to note that most ghost sightings happen when our senses are impaired, and that the evidence is unreliable because it doesn't occur when we have full use of our faculties.

Occasionally, the sincerity and motive of the claimant will be questioned. They might make up a haunting for a personal reason. For example, lingering of ghosts is typically associated with seeking justice or revenge. Ascribing such motives and powers to dead people could be interpreted as a scare tactic. Also, a person might claim a haunting for personal popularity and income.

Yes, but not every supernatural sighting or activity is a ghost--and not everyone can sense spirits.

Sometimes--and not all the time--I can sense the exact physical location where someone passed away, in a house, for example.
Obviously, the home would be somewhere I've never visited before, and people I don't know very well. It's also possible that I picked up that information from a living person in the room who knew the answer.

I've only SEEN a ghost once; I had a friend who was very ill, and in our last frank talk together before time and distance separated us, I told her that if she should pass away, I was giving her permission to "haunt" me. At the time, though, I expected that she would recover.

About six weeks after that, she appeared in my office at work, standing behind me. I sensed somebody standing there, not speaking, and I said "Oh--you scared me" as I turned. She disappeared.

I found out that she had died the week before.

You need to define 'ghosts'. Presenses beyond the physical as we see the physical - YES.

There are perverse energies in peoples bodies. Entities are a common experience. Ghosts are usually fragments of dead people who stay close to the physical level of existence. Found in hospitals, funeral homes. Haunted houses can be such because of a death in a house where lower parts of that person have chattered and not been able to go back to the 'light'. They are usually just pesky bits of gunk hanging on curtains!

Have a look at the Sixth Sense, even the movie Ghost. It depicts experiences that are becoming common experiences among those that have died and been revived.

What is a ghost but a misplaced energy, and because we are mostly ignorant to them we are afraid and make up this whole lot of nonsense of being haunted by them.

Happy ghost hunting.

yes, they do exist.. sincerely "they" do look much like a humans but with a few amusing abilities, and yes, i did and do sometimes when "they" wanted me to, the reasons cause i'm a family of black magic practitioners, so its a must even so i've no intention of doing so first, and ghosts is actually the spirit of the deceased so 'they" are different from the devils which are bound by fire and hatred, though there are some ghost that can alter "themselves" to become a devil where "they" have made an oath of vengeance in angst before 'they" die or making a curse upon "themselves" toward the living. but believe me that demons is another case, "they" don't share the emphasis that we have and "they" are far more deadly and dangerous than any ghosts or devils you can spoke of, as 'they" have "their" own personal agenda to accomplish where "they" will use, manipulate, or dispose of anyone or anything that stand in "their" way, directly or indirectly.
and its not fictions nor supersitions.

Where are YOU when you go to sleep ?
These ghosts do not know where , how and why they left their bodies, and perhaps try to seek others or body of others, that's all !
But asking opinion of others for existence of ghost will not really help , because it would only end up as stories of others in your mind and memory. Instead try to find it out yourself, deepening the perception level with sharp alertness and awareness. If there is a ghost , it cannot remain away from the 'sight' of a person who has evolved beyond sense organs in perception levels.

After a person dies their Spirit does not go directly back to God. It tells us this in the Bible. So the Spirit just floats around for a while. So in that time I do think that while, The Spirit is still here it may have been an Mean, Grumpy, Nasty person's Spirit and while that mean Spirit is still here with us I do think it can cause harm or scare us. I do think that Spirits exist, Rather they be Good or Evil. The Evil ones we think of as Ghost. They are Demon Spirits and Angel Spirits.

I do not believe in ghosts.
Don't frighten yourself believing in ghosts.
People say strange sounds they hear sometimes are ghosts
but there is always an explanation for the sounds or whatever even if you don't know exactly what it is at the time.
One example is that my friend heard a noise in my house and wanted me to go check the basement because she thought someone was down there. And what it really was was the ice maker on the refrigrerator dumping ice into the bin. Don't be afraid

Ghosts don't. Spirits do though. Some people are able to feel their presence (only if the spirit wants to make itsself known though). Especially certain children b/c their minds are so innocent & open b/c they haven't been exposed to the closed minded ways of the world yet. But adults experience it too. Some spirits are unsettled or unable to cross over or feel like they have to stay to finish something they were unable to in life.
There is ALOT of info about this & not enough room for me to put it all. It's VERY interesting though!
