Yeah, if I see they're speeding...I hate to see others get pulled over and get tickets. Most of the times people flash me so I try to warn others in return. Most people appreciate it too, I know I do. It's kept me from getting pulled over on several occasions but in my city, the speedtraps on the side of town where I live and frequent are always in the same place. You'd think the cops would wise up and find some new spots because now on some streets, you see everybody doing the speed limit because we don't know what days they are going to pop up and set up a trap.

I do on country roads and open highways. I live in the city. Where I live, we have cameras on the main traffic lights and even on the freeways that catches a speeder. If you're the speeder you don't even know you have a public portrait of yourself until you get the fine in the mail. So many snap shots and you have your license revoked. I'm a "granny driver" in the city any way. But when it comes to country roads and the open highway, it's easy to speed without even knowing it. All of a sudden instead of 55 your going 75 or 80. Which is one very good reason for "SPEED CONTROL". I depend on mine when taking trips.

It is common courtesy to blink your headlights at least twice at opposing traffic who may be traveling slightly faster than they should nearer a police speed trap. It is also common to blink your headlamps when someone doesn't have theirs turned on at night, and to thank them for leaving you turn onto another road.

NO, because it's rude and they'll think you're being a dick....which you are.
It's their fault if they are speeding not yours.
They won't know what you are trying to tell them by flashing your lights at them. If you did that to me I'd be pissed.

When someone did this to me the first few times, I was so paranoid about what was going on, but now I realise and am grateful...although to be honest I can't remember ever doing it myself...dont' often see cops with radars though...

yes, but if you see someone with their lights out in the city at night don'ty flash them that;s a gang initiation and it could get you killed just a lil information not relavent to the question
