I need some ideas. I love cooking, but my recipes are running dry and I'd really like to eat out every-now-and-then. I just don't want to ruin my diet by eating at a restaurant. What places and what on the menu would be good?

Sushi is generally a low calorie and low fat choice, but I know that not everyone is a fan. Some chain restaruants have great low fat/low carb portions of their menu...I know that Chilli's, Outback Steakhouse, Ruby Teusday's, and Max's have great selections. Another great choice are salad bars and buffets such as fresh choice, because they have a lot of low-calorie options for dressings and whatnot, and you can control how much fat goes into your meal.

Ruby Tuesdays has a great healthy eating menu. When you go in ask the host or your server for the menu that tracks calories, carbs, fat and protein.

They have delicious fish that is broiled. Tilapia I believe

Most national chains post nutrional information on their websites. I know TGI Fridays, Chili's, and places like that do. Just google their names and find their official websites, click on menu and nutrition, and choose before you even go to the restaurant.
