im a doctor. i get only 2 patients a day.im very free with my patients and want the best for them.is that my mistake people dont want to come to me because im simple i have a 18 year old bike and a nokia 3315 mobile. patients only want to go to doctors who give a lot of style and showoff.should i do the same .how do i sell myself.should i update myself because i am avery simple person should i give airs then only people will think that i am succesful. people take humble people as losers in todays times they r more interesed in what car u drive and what mobile you have.what should i do to be successful. Dude if you want to get more clients advertising yourself is important.I have no clue what my doctor drives or what phone he has,but when I see him he is easy to talk to and most of all he is a professional and Knows what he's doing.That's what a patient really wants.Not to offend but it sounds like those are things your piers would care about more than clients.I would update a few things if it is financially possible,but putting yourself in front of people is the only way to draw new clients and give you a more personable image.Most common folks feel like a doctor is a figure of success already.You should use that and as for being a loser well the only person who can call you a loser and be right is you.

There could be a lot of reasons why you're not getting the number of clients you'd like. You should talk to some colleagues in the industry. Perhaps you could contact patients and find out what is it about you that they don't like.
It also seems like you're lacking in self esteem. There are a lot of self esteem booster courses that you can take.
You could get involved with community organizations and spread the word around that your services are available.

I think you are a loser if you are a doctor and only have 2 patients a day....unless it's only 2 people in your town.
Also, a double loser for a person of your stature to have to write on yahoo answers for such a thing. Get real!!

Do you want to be successful by making lots of money or by being happy with yourself? If you are happy with yourself you are successful. You may need to advertise your services but in a different way. Affiliate yourself with a specific health problem such as heart disease, a form of cancer, alzheimer's disease, etc. This will put you in the "light" so to speak & make more people aware of you & your services.
