It's just part of being a girl. Some girl's faces produce more oil than others. Just look around in the drug store for some sort of face product and if you can't find it ask the person at the counter, don't be embarassed it'll be worth it when your face isn't oily anymore. If you can't find anything that you like or that works for you than try Proactive, it is for pimples but pimples are caused by oily skin so that s the first thing it has to treat. Proactive is a great product! You can get it on a TV offer, usually best found on MTV or sometimes they sell them in booths at the mall. And make sure you get a face cleanser, I would recommend Aveeno or Cetephil. Good luck! : ) smiles from me!!!

It's your hormones, genetics and sometimes the hot weather. The good news is that oily skin ages better. You'll get fewer wrinkles than your friends with drier skin.
Purchase skin care products for oily skin or acne, if you have that too. You'll have to experiment to see what works best for you. I use Biore cleansers, then Oxypads (they're like Stridex only with alcohol in them) then a 2% benzoyl peroxide cream by nutreogena (stronger isn't always better and I'm not young so the stronger stuff really burns my skin).
Finding a good moisturizer designed FOR oily skin might help too. Try one of the mineral based foundations. I have used Bare Minerals for years. It's good for any skin type and because it is all minerals, it is a natural sunscreen (whereas all the liquids have chemicals in them). It's so pure you can sleep in it (though better to go to bed with clean skin). The powder helps soak up the oil.
Clearasil has sheets you can carry in your purse to "pat" down the oily patches as the day progresses. That can be helpful too.

Wash your face throught the day. See your skin gets bacteria, and dirt that make zits, pimples, blimishes, oily skin, whiteheads, blackheads...etc. throught your day. If you stop touching your face it might help too. Everything you touch with your hand, stays on your hand, and then you spread it onto your face when you touch your face. Inplus there is tons of bacteria in the air that goes into your pores.
(So just wash your face and keep those hands away!)
