If he doesnt who else should I start? Derrick Mason or Drew Bennett in TJ's Place?

TJ Whosyourmomma is out for week one. Go with Bennett.

I am in the same situation you are....I really need TJ to start. My other option is Joe Horn (yuck).

I heard he is a game-time decision, so I will be logged on, watching the CBS pre-game.

If you have to, I would start Mason.

Neither the Cincinnati Enquirer nor the Cincinnati Post lists Houshmandzadeh among the players expected to miss Friday's preseason game. Houshmandzadeh left Monday's game with a bruised heel, but he appears to be fine.
No news is good news in this case. With Carson Palmer looking strong, Houshmandzadeh is a nice No. 2.
