I love his movies. The best ones featured Divine. I think "Pink Flamingos", "Desperate Living", " Polyester" and my all time favorite "Female Trouble" are classics. Edith Massey and Mink Stole were great supporting players too.

Actually anyone with a brain and ability to recognise talent should be in favor of John Waters. Those who think Britney or Justin have talent just will never be able to get anything. LOL John does high sattire of the 60"s from the prespective of a gay nerd in Baltimore. Funnier than anyone before him. LOL

I love his stuff. He's brilliantly demented and quite a contrarian to pop culture and authority. "Pink Flamingoes" remains one of my favorites, it flies in the face of what a standard "troubled family, budding romance" movie is, like the flapdoodle you see on TV.
