In my opinion, Celine is (still) the best there is out there. Let's not forget she has been doing a great show in Las Vegas for the past three years without getting bad reviews. Her voice is not 100% as clear as it used to be in the 90s when Celine was ruling the charts & touring the world, but those are actually the things that made her tired.
Of the three great Divas of the 90s (Whitney, Mariah, Celine), she is the only one that has kept her reputation & fan base intact. Unfortunately Whitney has health problems & addiction issues, Mariah wishes to take off her clothes rather than sing (plus, she's lost a lot of vocal power), but Celine is STILL here.
Doesn't that mean she's a true Diva? Gifted with a pure voice she has worked on for years, with kindness, common sense and beauty, I think Celine is here to stay. Not only the best-selling female artist, but the simply the best!

Grace Slick is light years better than Celine Dion.

I choose Courtney Love over Celine Dion, too.

Probably the best at carrying a tune and actually being able to sing, but the best, Not my favorite. There are some good answers here and some confusing. How can Janis Joplin and Kelly Clarkson compare. Kelly is a tired studio singer who had to go to a TV reality show to get heard. Should tell everyone something. Singers at Disney or on a cruise ship - should tell you something. Singers should be able to sing without studio enhancement or background tracks while singing live to cover really really poor talent. They do sing "live" they just have "enhancements" and still are awful. LOL

She is horrible... I might just prefer deafness to listening to her. I am honestly and truly baffled how anyone can enjoy her "music."

I think she has an awsome voice. She's probably not the best anymore but she's still really good.
