Perhaps the best thing we can do to influence people is to educate them and let them understand the US by being here. We will not convince 100%, but kids that age are still learning and it is much better for them to learn here than in the hands of fundamentalist islamists.

I know, it doesn't seem right. And incredibly risky. But you know that the FBI, CIA, and whoever else is going to do a background check on every single student. THey will probably keep tabs on alot of them too. The president and his staff are alot smarter than the plublic tends to think.

They want to establish a better alliance with Saudi Arabia, and at the same time, he will be keeping close tabs on each and every one of them! Least i hope so. Thatd be terrible if he didn't.

I think that it is a good plan.

It will encourage increased international understanding, cultural appreciate and friendship between different people.

This will decrease feelings of alientation and anger and help people see all points of view.

Blocking the education of people from different countries will increase anger and fear of the USA, when the USA should be showing that it is an open democratic mature country that does not hate all muslim people.

Yes, I think is is safe...

Most of those students coming here really want to be here... for the education.

Having a degree from the US (or UK or Germany) is one of the most prestigious things you can have in the Middle East.
