Yes, it's true. But they are happy to take his money! Odd that Bush, Cheney, and Rove (!) are able to raise so much money.

Bush not important in this election? He is the election.

The Democrats are trying to make this election a referrendum on Bush, even though that tactic failed miserably last election. However, this election has little to do with Bush, but rather the individuals running for office.

That being said, Bush has helped raise $166 million for the campaign accounts of 27 Republican candidates, the national GOP and its state counterparts across the country.

Well - most of them know that a Republican will not make it to the Presidency...
history dictates that whichever party holds office twice in a row...the other party wins next.

Since MOST Americans don't want Hillary Clinton in office...and she thinks she'll run...Republicans see this as an opportunity to win the Presidency and defy historical precedence.

So they shy away from press likening them to Bush in order to win the "We Hate Hillary" vote.

Just like you couldn't find someone who would stand next to Clinton in '98 or 2000. When a two-term president is on the way out, few campaign with them. This is not just a Republican factor.

That's because so many people are ignorant about what is going on in the world. They beleive terrorist are the good guys. There for they blame their own government. However that is pretty much the same with both parties.
