January thru march. It's off season so the ticket prices are lower and hotel rates are down. It's dry season and cooler. The weather is nearly perfect everyday.

Beaches are still nice even when it's not summer, in fact some people like going when it isn't summer better because beaches aren't so crowded this applies especially to Boracay Island. There are so many beaches in the Philippines though (we don't have 7,100 islands for nothing) that even when it's summer and peak season, you'll find a place with more than enough space for you. If you plan to go around December though, plan your trip early (now may be too late already) because tickets go really fast since a lot of Filipinos like going home for Christmas. There are so many things to do and places to see in the Philippines that anytime is fine just make sure to plan your itinerary well. But even if you don't, it won't be that difficult to go around, a lot of Filipinos speak English well enough to carry a conversation.

If you are used to a cold weather the best time to visit will be between December to February because it is a lot cooler in the Philippines.

March- April is good if you love sun and dont care about warm weather.

You may want to avoid May to November. It is the rainy season and that's the period where typhoons are expected.

the best time to visit the philippines is in the summer months (march to may) and the christmas season (november to december). unfortunately, everyone else thinks so too, hence the thick crowd at the beaches. on top of that, airfares and accommodations in known destinations are higher (still affordable though) during these times. so, depending on your destination, choice of activity and budget, you can choose among the months mentioned. what i would advise against, however, is flying in during the typhoon months (june to october) as this could really ruin your itinerary.

Where in the Philippines are you planning to visit? It is best to consider the location you are planning to go to. For example if your planning to go to the beach, then it would be good for you to come between the months of Feb to May.
