Like if there are too many people born in a family, what they do about it?

I know one country that allows the first child free. Then a hefty tax on the second child. And a really humongous tax on the third, etc. The plan was so successful that after a few years they repealed the law. When the population starts to expand again, they will probably put it back into effect.
The country is Singapore.

There are indeed countries that control their population this way. China is one of them. China used to only allow a family to have 2 babies. Because males were more held to a higher esteem in their society girl babies were often killed by the parents so they could have two sons. Thank god I live in the USA and thank you to all of the people who have fought to keep it the land of the free. Those of you that think the Democrats and liberals should be allowed to turn our Representative republic into some sort of socialist regime should look into this kind of human torture that happens every day in the socialist countries. Then thank your local Republicans and Conservatives for not allowing that here. And the next time you see an American GI or veteran sincerely thank him/her for the sacrifices they've put forth to keep you free.

The only country I know that controls family size is China, by law families can only have one child, with the exception of twins. This is to control the huge Chinese population

China allows only one child per couple. Most Chinese families prefer having a son (to help with work, farming, etc) This is why there are so many female Chinese babies up for adoption. It was a terrible solution to the over-population issue in China.

China has had a one child policy for many years.
Result has been that a lot of baby girls were killed so families could try for a boy. Now they don't have enough girls and raid other towns for women.

Check out China's policy. I'm sure you can find a lot of stuff on their website, or human rights activist websites. They've been trying to control their population for years.

it is not the police job to control the family size,
it is the government job to put some laws to limit the family size.
