What the US government says about Iran largely matches what Iran says about Iran. That was not the case with WMDs in Iraq. So while we should all be at least partially skeptical about what ANY government says, in this case I think it's fair to believe most of what the US government has said about Iran so far.

I believe that Iran is the bigger threat and I have been saying this since before the beginning of the war with Iraq. Now if earlier in his administration the President told the nation that we need to do something concerning Iran, I would have been behind that. And obviously something does need to be done, however while our resources are already stretched so thin, they will get stronger before anything can be done.

No, I don't think there's a problem with our American pipeline in Alaska, either! Bush says that we can't get oil from our pipelines because they are rusted and being repaired...I think that's baloney. I lived in Alaska for 5 years. I know they work on those pipelines constantly, and I've got an idea, that's it's just a lie to keep Americans buying overseas, Arab oil...(the oil the Bush family has it's stocks in!)
