IT can't be these names because I know dogs/animals with these Lizzy, Lucas, Spencer, Cinnamon, Sugar, Misty, and I knew this person whos hamster died and was named Honey. I love that name but don't want to name my future one that. Please don't say stuff like well, look at the face. etc. Like that. Thankyou so much.

Well my kids suggested the name Hamtaro after this hamster cartoon they watched as kids. I would choose Hazel or Harry "the Hamster" unless you prefer cute, then maybe something like Sweetie or Rascal or Buster or Buttercup.

My kids and I liked naming their hamsters after celebrities...we had Sammy Davis Jr. (this brown one that would be forever dancing around the cage). And Zoe Bowie (the white one that was always preening itself). Mr. Bo Jangles (he would ALWAYS dance while the radio was on), and Carly Simon (would hide and only come out at night or when fed).
You get the idea...go for it.

I called my first hamster Harriet George the Gladiator and my second one Sylvester.
I think hamsters like fun names, so be a little inventive. Hamsters are a little bit bonkers so it is appropriate to give them bonkers names.
