I m making a websitesite with frontpage. everything works fine but when i make a photo gallery using the templete i cannot save the page it says the following: To save this page and this photo galleryopen a frontpage based website and save the webpage to that site.

I have frontpage but never liked it. Too cumbersome. I use Netscape composer and it does a perfect job.

FrontPage has always had problems with letting you add certain functions that you can't actually see until the page has been published. It sounds like that's what's happened here. You might try publishing your FP web, then opening it from the server instead of opening the local copy. Then you can copy your photo gallery over to the published web and save it.

frontpage sucks and it writes terrible code. try downloading the free trial version of Dreamweaver.
