I believe the Grammy's prove that U2 is the best rock band around. They have been the best of the 80's, 90's, and still today.
The Beatles were the biggest and best of the 60's
I would say a toss up between Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Eagles for the best rock band of the 70's .
If I had to pick the best rock band of this generation I would have to pick Green Day with possibly Cold play second.

the Scorps!! As far as bands go... i typically like individual singers... Uncle Kracker, Beethoven ( composer) Neil Diamond,Patsy Cline,Travis Tritt, Trace adkins, ect. I like also CCR,and Goo Goo dolls and Train, But I have to say i love the Scorps! You know...the Scorpions? ( In case you are younger than to be a kid of the 80's!)
