best to work to gain practical experience in the field. you may wish to study but go for professional certifications related to multimedia tools which are considered industrial standard practice such as Adobe Flash. with professional certifications comes better prospect of employability for your career in this field. goodluck and god bless.

1. You can select film industry as your destination
Special effects, sound editing, video editing ..there are lots of work for you
2. You can select game development world
Level designing, modelling, sound editing, character designing, texture making .. there are also lots of jobs.. you can get a great salary of lakhs per month, if u are capable

3. Freelancer
You can also work as a freelancer. Develop models, sound tracks etc
4. Web designing
web designing world multimedia specialist are important part. If u know flash,dreamweaver etc..u will get the job
5. Computer Aided Training Content development
If u know animation...bingo...u got a job..try out for CAT centers
6 Higher studies...
Well there is multimedia management training centers, game development training centers etc
