Water is the most important material for living organisms.
(1) Living cells are 70 to 95 percent water.
(2) Much of the environment of the earth is water based (about 75 percent of the earth is covered by water).
(3) Water can exist in all three phases (solid, liquid and gas) and can purify itself in the "water cycle."
(4) Water has a very high specific heat (it retains heat better than most other materials). This is necessary for temperature regulation.
(5) Water is the solvent (medium) for most of the chemical reactions that support live. Without water, these could not take place.

I found some grass seed in a tight plastic container that was marked about five years old. I spread the seed on bare spots of the lawn and crossed my fingers. Soon new grass sprouted up. Each seed contained DNA which was a complete blueprint for creating a blade of grass complete with root system. However, the seeds could not snap into "life" until water from a hose or rain allowed the DNA to divide cells and differentiate into the various mature cell types required of a blade of grass. We often see the desiccated carcasses of road kill at the side of a highway (Ugh!). Water is not enough to keep the animal alive when its complex interconnected systems break down and fail to support each other. Water is the "universal solvent" and supports many of the chemical functions of life.

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! Learn here https://tr.im/GrTaR
As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

Someone doesn't want to do his own homework. Ok so here are a few points you could look up
1. turgor
2. Photosynthesis
3. Thermal regulation (sweating)
4. Maintaining plasma volume
5 Also used as a solvent.
Try these out on Wikipedia or your textbook for more information. These are just a few of the possibilities, water is used in lots of different cell processes

1. water is necessary for photosynthesis
2.water makes up the majority of cell mass
3.water has a high specific heat, which helps in regulating body temperature
4.many substances are soluble in water, making it ideal for transporting substances throughout the body
5.water is the only liquid that expands when it freezes(becomes less dense), helping to insulate ponds by freezing only on the top layer. because of this, aquatic organisms are able to survive through cold winters without freezing
