J.K. Rowling is still writing Book 7, so it is hard to guess when it will be released. So far, there has been no official word. Her latest statement about it was to debunk the rumor that she had completed 750 pages. On Mugglenet:
JK clarifies rumor regarding Book 7 progress
On Friday we reported that the Daily Mirror spoke to JK Rowling at a tea party in Edinburgh, celebrating the release of Driving Lessons. Regarding the progress of Book 7, the UK tabloid quoted Jo as saying, "I'm up to about 750 pages now." At the time, we told you it was highly unlikely JK would give away how many pages she's written. Now we have confirmation in the form of an update to the the Rubbish Bin at JKR.com:
Oh pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. I haven't written 750 pages of book seven, and if I had, I'd be very worried, as I'm not close to finishing it yet.

HP 7th book release date haven't announce yet, but rumor has it, that it would be release summer of next year (7/7/07).
Eragon release date, I have no idea.

I'm guessing HP will come out sometime next summer. As for the third Eragon book, I don't even know if it has a name yet.
