how can I clear a corrupt file on a floppy disc?

mistakenly put in new floppy before closing down previous one

I need the original file content

Reformat. Use the full format option (not quick format).
If Windows claims "incorrect media", attack the floppy with a large magnet. This will remove everything and you can format it.

jsut delete it, or in case if it is the only file, i would recomend you to format the floppy disk.

Try to De-corrupt it
else try to Delete it
else try to Format it from windows
else try to Fromat it from DOS
