You cannot force yourself to be anorexic. That's almost immpossible. It's very much an emotional/mental thing. For most anorexic/bulemics, they have serious issue with control. Granted they have a terrible perception of there body, there are more severe underlying factors of why they are doing this.

I strongly advise you to keep away from these people- they can cause harm. It can do no good to hear people abusing you- it seems that you are already unhappy enough with yourself as it is- don't sucumb to abuse in order to have the "strength" to lose weight. You need to accept yourself as you are right now- love yourself, and then heal yourself. YOu can lose weight if you want to- just by moving to a vegetarian diet and exercise. Ignore all these silly fads, they don't work, and please don't become an anorexic. Anorexia is a mental condition, they do not see what the rest of the world see's- it is the biggest killer of all mental conditions- even worse than despression. You will be subjecting yourself to a slow and painful death, and even if you becomne skin and bones- they would still tell you to lose more weight.

Just drink lots of water, cut out meat from your diet, put your food on smaller plates so it looks like your'e eating more, and take up some exercie regime- something like walking to the shops instead of driving- then progress to cardiac exercise such as swimming or running.

You can do it- just believe in yourself.

But, I think you should just accept who you are- this body is just a shell, it's somewhere for your spirit to inhabit for the life it has on this planet and it's teachings- and then you will move on to the spiritual plane with a perfect soul :)

No. Anorexia is a very complex disease that is more than physical. It is psychological and spiritual. It has more to do with a person's perception of themselves than with social acceptance. The disease can be conquered but only through intensive and highly supervised therapy from a competent expert in the field. The spiritual aspects must be addressed by a professional who understands the spiritual nature of the disease. I have no idea how much in American weight 1613 stone is. Many people who suffer from anorexia do not have an overweight problem---just the opposite, they are underweight.

You're looking to your problem as though anoerexia could cure obesity. Both conditions are unhealthy - anoerexia is even more so as it kills you quicker.
I do believe that overeating is a serious emotional problem and should be treated not just for its physical problems. Which is why I was so interested in the Paul McKenna programme. I do think he's hit the nail on the head.
We need retraining to eat smaller portions, not eat between meals and to concentrate on healthy eating. That said: I've just eaten some roast beef and a piece of apple cake!

Please do not even go back on those type of sites if you have any value for yourself and your life, they are cruel and evil, you are obviously an intelligent person and by been so you need to stay well away from those sites, they are extremely dangerous, if you want to lose weight then do it sensibly and healthily and not by totally ruining your body or your life, do you want to end up so poorly and freaked out that you won't recognise yourself let alone anyone recognise you, it will only put your whole life in danger and cause grief and heartache to the ones who love you, wise up and stay away from them for goodness sake.

NO. You DON'T need to join one of their sites. You might think they will help you- but trust me in the long-run it won't. If you are over-weight, try loosing weight sensibly- try to eat more fruit and vegetables along with less junk-food (you don’t have to cut out things like chocolate completely however!), exercise more (why not join a local club- swimming is a brilliant way to loose weight and have fun with others at the same time. Or even give something unusual a try and start a martial art [kick-boxing especially is a good way to loose weight and tone muscles]), why not tell you friends and family you are trying to loose weight, and explain it is important to you, this way they’d be less likely to tempt you away from your diet by offering food etc.
Please don’t listen to those sites. They’re made by insecure, ill people who need help. If their pressure did make you loose weight it would not be a good thing as (even if you yourself think you haven’t) you would have started believing their message. This is what some of the people on these sites look like- http://img173.imageshack.us/img173/15/anorexia21wd.jpg They can look like this, yet still be convinced they need to loose weight. Others on the sites practically worship people who look like this- WANTING to look like it. Do you really want to end up that thin? Because the chances are, if you stay on those sites, someone will end up convincing you, subconsciously, it’s good to look like it. ‘Ana’ and ‘Mia’ aren’t good, despite whatever the people on those sites tell you. The people telling you that are so obsessed with loosing weight they’ve lost their grip on reality. Half of them are so determined they’re doing the right thing, they can’t open their eyes to see that they’re not. Loosing weight isn’t about strength- it’s something personal; you’re allowed to loose weight and still have fun at the same time. Dieting shouldn’t make you feel bad about what you’re eating.
PLEASE don’t go back onto those sites, loose weight sensibly… good luck!! =)

Hi flip, you don't want to emulate the example of the famous singer Carpenter, do you? Don't force yourself to lose weight! Keep doing regular exercise and keep fit!

By the way, why do you still use stones and pebbles as a measure of weight and ft. and inches to measure height? Don't you know metric system is now universal and weight is expressed in Kilograms (kg for short form) and height in centimeters (cm) or meters (m)!
