Have a few newts or lizards in my garden cant find any info on what they are.
If anyone has any info please could you pass on info to me.

I know they hate fire.

You can easily find out whether they are newts or lizards. Newts are amphibians, like salamanders; they have a soft, shiny skin and must remain in damp places (if they stay dry for too long they die, because their skin can't retain water). Also, their eggs are wet and must remain in the water, and their young have gills and breathe dissolved oxygen until they reach adulthood. Lizards are reptiles, with a scaly skin, and don't have to stay in damp plaes, because their skin can retain water. Their eggs have shells and can survive on land, as can their babies, which breathe air and have scaly skins like the adults.

I don't know about America, in Northern Europe the distinction is fairly easy:
Newts have a smooth, brown to black skin, a blunt head and a short(ish)tail, lizards are light grey/brown with scales, pointed head and have a tail longer than their body.

numerous issues!!!! I owe money to 2 distinctive hospitals, owe friends 20 money (they get that tonite, owe human beings apologies, owe my soul to rock and roll :) There in all possibility is so plenty extra, i'm decrease than a mountain of debt.... oh, i understand I owe 2 cellular telephone companies and a band a pair hundred money. whew!

Can't say I've ever found any in my garden ..... well this is the UK, very boring for wildlife in one's garden .... anyway, they're ugly little critters .....

well it all depends on where you live but if they have red on their bellies then they are fire belly's.
