Some one advised me to hang peacock feather etc which really did not helped.

Lizards are harmless creatures, which infact help to keep the insects like flies, mosquitos, cockroaches etc. under control. If their population increases beyond certain limit, cats or some birds like eagle will take care of them. Nature has got a way of balancing the food chain. Hence, you need not worry.

even i dont like lizards but i kill them with a broom if a single enters my house, but have heard the empty egg shells should b kept from the place u feel they come in d room.

I suggest you to hang empty egg shells on the walls it really works. One of my cousin has tried it successfully.

stick some artificial lizard n u can keep empty egg shell. it works no idea
