Of course not. Romance is more than sex. Sex is just the joining of two bodies for pleasure. Romance is an emotional response.You can have sex without romance (personally I don't know why anyone would want to, but each to their own) Romance enhances sex, it is not only psyical but emotional as well.

No sex is not the basis of all romance..Though sex is good, it does not mean it makes a good relationship..Their should be more..Caring, understanding, love, friendship, listening and being there for on another through good and bad times...

are way too many true love stories where
it's not always the case. The well being of
the other person seems to be very important,
though I am sure sex would be desired,but it
is not everything.

It is the other way round.Romance first and sex later after you get a commitment on marriage. You have sex and he will loose interest in you since he thinks he has seen all of you aaaaaaand he can try another.
