Ehh...I think it's Britney Spears. There was a documentary on Vh1 that said Christina Aguilera was on 3rd place with 32 million dollars net worth, 2nd was Justin Timberlake and 1st place was Britney Spears with 50 million dollars net worth.

Hmmm... Madonna True Blue was the biggest selling single of all time. Since then she has released a lot and may have surpassed people like Elvis, just on the amount she has done.
Passed that, "Yesterday" by Lennon and McCartney is the most covered song of all time - again, the Beatles were very famous for a good amount of time, but the popular culture has expanded so much since then, and children have more money to buy the stuff..
I will stick with a guess of madonna, but will have to look it up.
