There are many otc medications that could help. She should watch what she eats and find what causes her to have gas. Gas is normal if she does not have it all the time. Good luck and maybe put a clip on your nose for awhile.

I have found a gas relieving exercise really effective....

Lie on your back, flat out.

Bring your knees up, steadily, and hug them to your chest.

Legs back down, steadily.

Bring up the right knee and hug it. Steady movements still.

Put it back down, always steady movements.

Repeat with the left leg.

Repeat the lot continuously until gas is expelled.

It can work well.
