I've got a V3 razr phone on vodaphone what I need to know is; Can I unlock it then put my '3' contract sim in and will it work? Thanks.

no you cant, how stupid is that!! they want to take my mobile in for repair but i cant use any of my other handsets cause the sim is locked to 3 phones only! grrr

NO, i am on 3, got my phone wet so tried putting my Sim in 4 different unlocked phones and it didn't work it only worked in a 3 phone,

Yes, you can. I have a Razr V3 and I used to have a rubbish 3G phone, from 3. In Hong Kong that is.

yeah you can do this aslong as the phone is unblocked, although you will only have basic functions such as txt and calling, as the "3 services" work in completely different way to "wap services" so nothing can be downloaded to phone

the v3 works on all the networks, you may not even need to get it unlocked

even if you get your phone unblocked it will not let you use a 3 sim

if you get your phone unblocked then you can..many places will unblock your phone for about £15.00 then you can put any sim card in it
