I am an Indian and my heart bleeds for my country when i see bombs going off here, do u think anyone cares?

My country India has been fighting the sole battle against terrorists for over 30 years now, we have lost more than a million people in this battle both civilians and soldiers. It is widely known that Pakistan is responsible for this but US still is an ally of Pakistan and is arguing on whether nuclear fuel should be provided to India or not. "For evil to succeed, the only thing necessary is good people to keep quiet." Americans created a huge hullabulla during 9/11 but what happens to us. Terrorists keep bombing our cities,kill our children but still US doesnt support us completely.WHY? Is an Indian life anyway inferior to an American. Well i have decided to help my country in this war , i have signed for Officer in Indian Army. All I ask of u is, plz create an awareness of my country's problems and gather support for us, terrorism can only be defeated thru teamwork. I hope i u will support me and my great nation.

I care but what can I or we do? The U.S. has so many things going on all over the world. In March 06 the U.S. did make a deal.
The nuclear pact signed in March between President Bush and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, which provided India with access to sensitive nuclear technology and sophisticated nuclear-capable weapons systems, though many here feel that this marks a dangerous step backward in the struggle against nuclear proliferation. Sort of a double standard though as we also help Pakistan. Your country has a huge population and is very advanced in many ways. At some point countries like India need to take responsibility for their own advancement and not fall into a dependency on the U.S. backing them all the way all the time.

First an answer for Zak, what you say is true, but Pakistan could not be a threat to India or anyone else if the USA did not supply them with billions in aid- most of all Military aid- Pakistan is the worst country in the world for Radical Islam- thats why the Taliban was created there, not Afganistan, My own fear is the radical element in Pakistan will gain control , they outnumber everyone else and they have an atomic Bomb-

It's indicitive of the last eight years when your heartfelt question is answered with "Why do you hate America?" He also fails to understand Bush's wielding of aid as a weapon in his War On Terror©, nor could he tell you the list of largest donors other than the catch phrases Bush tells him. He also fails to realize these countries that have been dealing with Terrorism for decades including yours. But the point will be lost on most of them, as they don't even care to research their answers.

In any case...

My personal answer is that I do care with your ongoing plight, and I did what I could when I voted against this devisive president. But as long as this president is in office America and any other nation will not be any safer.

Why does every country want the US support, but when we help the world it is against us. People need to realize that tha US gives more foreign aid to other countries than anyone in the world, but no one ever mentions that. When there is a natural disaster in India the American government and the American people are the first ones to respond..... Where was India when we were devastated by Katrina???

And also...India has not been quiet...it has spoken out whever required and taking care of the terrorists inside India.
