I don't want to participate in a debate regarding the Holocaust. I could never do that tragic event justice. However, I will comment on the parallel you draw between animals and humans. God created some animals for the sole purpose of feeding His people. In His infinite wisdom he not only created humans, he provided the necessary systems to sustain life.
Therefore, I do not agree that animals are being destroyed in any way similar to those that suffered at the hands of the Nazi's during the Holocaust.

All species of animals value their own lives more than other animals. Animals are food sources for other species. Birds eat worms and bugs by the billions, Hawks eat sparrows and rabbits, foxes eat chickens, bears eat deer, dolphins eat fish, killer whales eat dolphins and seals. Even plants have species that eat them, and in turn are eaten by other species. This is the natural order of things, end of discussion.
Now if you believe that man was created in the image of god, was given dominion over the earth, has a soul and is therefore vastly more important than any animal- then no problem exists with man using animals for clothing and food, whatever he needs.
If on the other hand, man evolved and is himself an animal (alebit the one highest on the food chain) then man is simply following his animal nature and doing what got him to the top- it's the natural order of things! So again, there is NO problem!
Now, *EVERY* animal values the life of it's own kind more than other species. A mother bear will fight a mountain lion to the death if one comes along looking to eat her cubs. Bees will die protecting the hive from intruders. A pack of wolves fights to defend it's members.
So even if man is simply part of the animal kingdom, human life is more prized than other forms- just as a crocodile will gladly eat you in order to keep on living..
So, in any equation, the life all humans is more precious than the life of animals. Any random homeless person I don't even know is more valuable than a champion showdog, rare bird, or cow.
Human life is valued above all others- there is no comparison between the life of a human vs any animal. And the willful destruction of millions of human lives by human beings, simply because of thie ethnicity and beliefs, is an atrocity beyond measure.
KFC <> The Holocaust, sorry.

There is no double standard. I am Christian and I am appalled that you would even suggest such a thing. Genocide does not equate to slaughtering cattle for food. Not only that, you are creating a personal affront to the many innocent men, women , and children who were put to death or experimented on in the most grotesque fashion simply because they were different from what one man thought was perfection. He systematically set out to eradicate all Jews, most Gypsys, many poles, and anyone else he got a whim to kill. He was a sick, loathesome creature who does not even deserve to be titled a man, much less a leader. Leaders do not ask their nations to butcher people on a wholesale basis. That includeds the so called leaders of some of the middle eastern countries today. A leader should be someone who is fair and just and worthy of being followed. Hitler was only worthy of being stuck in one of his own gas chambers and put out of his misery. Hopefully they have a huge one in hell for him and his people in charge of all of the monstrosities that took place. Maybe God in his infinite wisdom will allow one Jew to have dispensation to go down and run it every other day or so.

I wish it were possible for you to take a time machine back to the Holocaust, be Jewish or one of the other persecuted peoples, and be a prisoner in a concentration camp. Auschwitz would be fine.
Then you could answer your own question better than anyone.

The holocaust has nothing to do with animals!
Millions of animals have to die, because everyone like to eat meat.

Hitler had a bit of a double standard himself. He killed millions of Jews, but he was a vegetarian and didn't like seeing animals killed.
