in addition to studying real hard, you can join study groups,where u can rub minds with others.that way u will not forget what u have read.
also find out what time of day you assimilate most.at that time you are likely to accomplish much more than any other time!

lastly, practice past questions.it has been known that questions are repeated over time, though not word for word,but the pattern of those questions never really changes.

For SSC refer to last few years paper which will give ample amount of pracrice to you.Solve model papers from boards they will be very helpful.

Make a list of the main topics that are to be tested. Review each subject and be sure that you are current on the most recent things. Talk to someone else who has taken the test and maybe they can give you suggestions.

Try and solve as many question papers as you can this helps you to get good exposure, you will not be surprised in your exam.
prepare good notes of each topic in each subject for future reference. Always be relaxed and let tension not go to your head.
