Although worksheets can't take the place of interaction with you, they still do have their place and can be very useful. A good website I've found is learningpage.com. I hope it's helpful for you as well.

better than using worksheets - read to your child - have your child read to you - converse with your child - take a walk and talk - build together - bake together - make puppets - paint - when you shop - talk about what you buy and compare costs and ingredients - teach them how to make change - take your child to church - a parent is the first teacher a child has - as a teacher if all I did was hand out worksheets - I would be doing my students a great disservice.

Please don't give your child worksheets! Talk to them, take them to the park, theatre for a walk in the country, the art gallery or museum, read to them, play games, take them to sporting activities....
Worksheets are a good way of practising sums or spelling but are not very productive! Have fum with your child as they grow up very quickly!

Try using www.starfall.com
It helps students with their reading and there are some worksheets that go with that you can print out. My second grade students love it!

I went to the book store and picked up some books. Instead of letting my kids do everything in the book, I photocopied the pages.
