Religious fundamentalism

Not just our enemy of muslim religious fundamentalist terrorists, but the christian fundamentalism that is leading to a deteriation of our civil rights, environment and education system here at home.

When a government thinks it is acting on the will of God, it is unable to take a look at other perspectives. They "KNOW" they are right. With a leader who believes he his following the will of God, we haven't seen improvements in education, the environments, drug use, poverty, or crime. Yet, we have seen war, increased intolerance and greater disparity between the rich and poor. We need a goverment that realises it's fallible, and that looks at the country, not at the heavens, to get direction.

addictions beyond just drugs...shopping, abuse, gambling, cheap gas, cheap clothes from cheap labor, lots of entertainment and lax education standards

our lifestyles are incompatible with nature and we can't continue on present course or we will extinct ourselves
