The problem began last night (saturday), today (sunday) maybe I can buy the right part at Auto Zone or Reillys, but I don´t know what regulates rpm when you´re not pushing acelerator pedal.

throttle body
the piece attached to the air filter that inhales air for the cars fuel to burn when you step on the accelerator the body has a circular flap on the inside that opens when you step on the acclerator so either the spot where the flap is mounted is loose causing it not to close just slightly. becuase the flap stays cracked open to keep the engine running, so is not open to that "crack" when you are not on the accelearator so check the body if thats all ok then check the transmission, because if it does this in drive then its the throttle body

There is a mechanism to control the idle but I think you could have a vacuum leak or maybe bad gas. I would run some Heet
through the tank to get out any water.

First thing i check for is a vacuum leak, if you have a vacuum leak it will cause the computer to try to compensate for it by raising your idle .Then i check is to make sure that the throttle cable is not binding up or broken, and make sure there is nothing blocking the the butterfly. then you will need to check your idle air control circuit the idle speed is controlled by your computer it uses a idle air control motor to meter the actual

You have two possible problems, First your Idle air control motor
is faulty, IAC MOTOR. The other is your Throttle position sensor,
TPS, Both can give you same the problem..
