Look on the bottom of the makeup. If there is a little triangle on the bottom, like on the tube of mascara or the plastic compact, then it is recyclable.

the website ive listed below has an awesome selection of recyclable cosmetics, and they even have things like recyclable razors! its great that you thought to ask this question! so many people dont care about the environment these days its frightening. but anyway good luck in finding products you like!

I know MAC cosmetics you can save the plastic containers and once you have 6 you can return them to MAC and you'll get a free lipstick that isn't one of the Viva Glam. They in turn recycle them.
