bogeymen is actually a devil-class entity, though maybe lower by rank against most devils but are extremely dangerous than that of imps and ghosts. where ghosts might wonder along earth with their intention to fulfil their living wishes, and imps might comes to earth realm by the request or demand of its summoner which maybe of other superior devils, demons, and human like those of a medium or black-magic user for gathering the information they needed or just to just to cause mischief to the people the summoner wishes but the bogeymen is an entity that feed on fear, the fear of those who is scare of the unknown and they are very well known by many to be a creature of darkness, which unlike imps and ghost which might runaway as soon as a light touches them without making any commotion but bogeymen intend to go berserk and trashes anything along their hands reaches.in the same time their quite famously known to most summoners to be an unpredictable and uncontrollalbe to evoke for their purpose unless to be use as their last resort. though they are more interest in feeding on childrens fear, their can be make into real life by mere power of thoughtmind with of fear of it.

To keep you from being confused They are all forms of ghost the name has been changed from Ghost to Bogymen to scare the children into obedience or to frighten someone. But the truth is some of them are demons disguised to look like ghost. But they all exist on similar planes in the spirit world. The only major difference is that Ghost can not harm you but Demons can...... Some people have good Idea's but are confused by not knowing the true history behind them. Also Demands Are under Satan's rules but you also should remember that Satan is still a very powerful angel with powers that can be beyond human understanding. But ghost can be brought under Satan rules to preform different tasks but a Ghost can not become a Demons. Why? because demons are fallen angels. where Ghost are just really dead humans. I know that what I am saying sounds weird but there are facts that govern everything that exist in the heavens and on this earth.

Why do people always assume something can't be real?
It is my belief that a boogeyman can be different things to different people. It's a fear, but just because you can't see it, or place it, doesn't mean it's not real. People say spirits don't exist, but ask someone who has seen them, and you will get a completely different answer.
