I liked them both, but the lion version was my fav.

Btw, original name for Lion Voltron is Go Lion (Go means Five).
Go Lion will win. Because Go Lion is faster, stronger, and do not have any time limit. And Go Lion only need five pilot (and five parts, less complex than 15). Also, Go Lion is super robot.

probably the vehicles do to the sheer numbers. and the vehicles are broken down to the terran each group could take down each lion. not to mention that the pip's green lion and the princess allura's blue lion would go down first leaving all the vehicles to tend to the other lions. and the vehicles were cooler loved their final attack blast.
