my assingment is to make a program to find roots of a quadratic eq. i know the formul but the codes r driving me nuts......plz help me.

hey ppl i really need to submit the c++ program to find the roots of a quadratic equation.........else my grade will go down.......i dont wanna loose the top most place............plz help me

Your question borders on academic dishonesty, if I were your TA I would have to report you to your professor. Here is a suggestion, go into office hours and ask the TA or professor for help. Also, if you know the formula the rest is easy. This program requires that you use the cmath library and most likely iostream.

i do Java so im not sure about writing a C++ program for it..
bascially, this is what the program should look like:

EDIT: Actually... the person above is right... you really should try doing this by yourself, or you might as well drop that class since you are not good enough for it...

Sorry to be harsh but if its your assignement then your going to have to do it yourself, trust me its all good experience and you'll be a better coder by learning by the mistakes yourself. If someone else does it for you then you will not learn and if school/college/uni find out you could be kicked off your course.
