let it it in a dry place for a while, it may just need to dry out. Weird that it works though....

Open the back cover and allow it to dry. Keep under a lighted lamp the water will evaporate.

take out the battery let it sit and dry out for 2 or 3 days the screen will come back after the moisture is gone.

keep it in a frost free fridge (dehumidifier)
