In the newspaper, i read that this 40+ year old mom with her 2 kids goes to some restaurant. the restaurant person points out her children have drinks from outside, which the restaurant dosent allow.(common rule) but woman insists her children did not drink it. finally, she says loudly she would rather not eat there and gets up. starts shouting and complaining loudly. passes in front of open kitchen. chef get angry and irritated. grabs her arm and pushes her out of restaurant (common reaction of irritation. acceptable. she deserved it) woman shocked. calls police (wtf! just for that!) goes to doctor and shows "bruises" (v.slight reddish finger marks!) i mean, she was @ wrong and makes such a scene and acts like a total a** ****!!! newspaper says police r still inverstigating this "case" wtf!! this they call a case?! is it bcoz s'pore has no real threats&cases that they have to investigate such small things?? + the woman deserved it!

If I have said it once I have said it a hundred times. "Those Singaporeans, sure do act Singaporean, don't they....?"

But I also believe, "When in Singapore, do as the Singaporeans do".

And my favorite song is "Singapore, Singapore". Here are the lyrics...
Start spreading the news
I'm leaving today
I want to be a part of it, Singapore, Singapore
These vagabond shoes
Are longing to stray
And make a brand new start of it
Singapore, Singapore
I want to wake up in the city that never sleeps
To find I'm king of the hill, top of the heap
These little town blues
Are melting away
I'll make a brand new start of it
In old Singapore
If I can make it there
I'll make it anywhere
It's up to you, Singapore, Singapore

You should be proud that Singapore only has such small cases to deal with.

The fact that it is on newspapers shows how peaceful this country generally is. Something to be grateful about
