You see ..every thing under the sky are good. Just the people are bad. Love is good lovers are bad. God is good devotees are bad. In the same way television is good. Only the people working for it and watching it are bad. In the days of IT age no one may come out home..

But the television? I dont know about other countries or states. In my surrounding I think that people are afraid of them selves ..just to get rid of them selves they are watching television.

Yet they cannot answer if u ask after some time what they had watched

Entertains the masses. For years, I've heard on the university level about how junk laden TV is. I find that to be false. TV unites us. It gives us a common bond. We could talk about the newest TV show, or sympathize with reality TV personas. As long as you keep in mind that TV is pure entertainment, it's a great way to sharpen dull moments in the day.Since we now live in a global world, if I wanted to I could call someone in China, or watch a Chile TV program, TV is what connects the world together. Earth has become a village thanks to TV.

tv desensitizes children and youth to violence and sex. there are very few shows that have any intrinsic value for anyone.

this generation has no respect for adults, authority, possessions of others, society in general. children are obese because they don't go out and play / get exercise. they sit in front of the tv staring mindlessly into oblivion not learning anything.

each year ... what is allowed on TV gets worse and worse.

T.V. spreads idea and information in a way never equaled in human history. It gives jobs and careers to thousands of people. I can also distract people from family's and give lazy parents a babysitter when they should be with the family. It is a very complex issue.

If TV is going to do anything I would say it has already done it. TV has been around for nearly 3 generations.

It spreads some valuable information. But overall I think it would be better if it didn't exist. It causes people to become idle and useless.
