No, neither he nor his father, George HW Bush, are Freemasons. The last Freemason we had as a President of the United States was Gerald Ford.
Yes, George W and George HW are Skull and Bones-men. So is John Kerry. That is a secret fraternity at Yale. Not a Masonic organization at all.
I am a Master Mason in American Co-Masonry and am a member of a research Lodge.
Personally (and it is only MY speculation), with Mr Bush's dependency upon Christian Fundamentalists for his power-base, Freemasonry would be an embarrassment for him politically. Theocrats do not favor any organization that wants mankind to be Free and Equal.

No he is in skull and bones, There has not been a lodge that has recogonized him. Dick cheny however has been listed as a member in a NY lodge however at request he was removed as a member listing on the site.
