playing better, scoring more points, no turnovers, all those features you need to win. and if it wasnt for a bad call in the 2nd quarter, then we wouldve kept them to a maximum of 3 points. that roughing the passer call was a bullsh*t call, even the commentators said that there was no penalty there and nothing shouldve been called. if that had been true, then texas wouldve had to settle for a field goal on 4th and 6.
ohio state just played the better game, forcing turnovers, and making the big plays on offense as well as defense.

They exploited the spot in the secondary Texas had to play with back-ups due to the suspension of their starter. Very smart football. It may not have made any difference, but it was still the right coaching move and OSU has a smart coaching staff. The defense of OSU was also superb, pretty much shutting the Longhorns down. Troy Smith, Gonzales, and Ginn were way too much for Texas to handle.
