I moderate a Yahoo Group and some members would like to share artwork (mostly anime) that they have found on the internet by posting it in our group's Photo Album. So far, I have advised they post links only, but is there a law that covers this?

I am pretty certain the Yahoo TOS for groups forbids you from posting copywritten material without the permission of the copywrite holder.

Links are better in this case; no legal liability.

I don't think there's an actual law about that but if it's your group and advise to put in link section I would email that one person who is not doing so and warn them or they will be kick out of your group if it keeps going on..Your the law about this it's your group...:o)
