do not send your child to daycare with a fever! That is when they are most contagious...and it's not cool to get other people's kids sick, or to get the teacher sick......

You can help by making sure she has the maximum chance to be healthy.

Keep her happy and unstressed as much as possible. Feed her organic fruits and vegetables at their peak of ripeness, and organic meats and fish. Also give her only steam-distilled water. Limit junk food and avoid carbonated soft drinks and anything with caffeine in it altogether. Limit candy and all junk food, including cakes and anything overladen with sugar or salt. This means no McDonalds, no Chuck E Cheese, etc.

Make sure she has a regular sleep schedule and gets plenty of rest, and that she gets to play hard and develop resistance through exercise and swimming, etc.

The goal is to have as healthy a child as possible so that she will go through these colds lightly rather than gettiing extremely sick.

going to daycare will at first bring about many diseases. This is how immunities and a strong immune system are developed. This is natural. If she had not gone to daycare, she would be going through this in school. Sometimes if a newborn is breast fed, many of the immunities will get passed along through the milk. If she was breast fed, it should at least make it easier.

i know how insaine this is gonna sound but - its prefectly normal she is getting out and about and will get lots of everything in these first couple of years, but at the same time it is building up her immunity to aid her later in life.

If you choose to pull her out from day care , then it will happen when she starts school

but by all means do not send your child to day care when she is sick and there should be a list of illnesses provided to you by the day care centre which it is compulsory to keep your child from attending during the contagious period

A temp of 103.2 is extreme for a new child. provide a dose of tylenol, make an remark of the time you provide it. Take your daughter to the ER as quickly as you could. i'm a mom of four had to try this better than as quickly as.
