HUMAN RIGHTS ARE PRO LEFTIST. Here in the Philippines, when a police officer killed an underworld elements, the human rights groups runs after them. But, if a police officer was killed in the line of duty, these so called human rights advocates turn thier faces on the other side and keep their mouth shut. There are no human rights violations for police officer killed in action. Human rights in the country like us are nonsense, they are just a bunch of IDIOTS.

i think of one element that separates democracies from dictatorships, or from people who desire to take issues by way of stress - is human rights. the applicable to a honest trial, the applicable to be harmless until eventually shown in charge. the applicable to criminal representation, etc. If 'democracies of the western international' proceed to handle terrorists and suspected terrorists appalingly, do you think of which will win human beings over to western democracy, or push them into the hands of terrorists? remember in Northern eire, while many hassle-free human rights have been suspended in the 1980's. It have been given Thatchers authorities nowhere - it only escalated issues. It wasn't until eventually there replaced into an hazard for communicate and a genuine want among the electorate of Northern eire for substitute, that issues began to alter.

the "war on terror" has resulted in the destruction of civil rights for EVERYBODY, not just terrorists. the Patriot Act is so vague in its definition of "terrorist" that it can be applied to ANYONE.
