In a physical sense, we are made up of matter. And this can be the strongest argument against any theory proclaiming that we are actually pure energy. If we are able to refute this claim then we can prove that we are in fact made up of pure energy - which by the way is my personal opinion.

If we consider basic formation of matter at a sub atomic level, we realize that an atom exists because of fast moving electrons round positively charged nuclei. If they do not move the structure of atom will collapse, and so will the matter with it constituent elements. The entire matter will go into super energized plasma state.

When we on the other hand observe our physical world that we can interact with normally, we realize that everything is in motion. This motion is the basis of our sense of time and space. If everything comes to a halt not thing would exist. Now it motion is what makes what everything is than the motion is due to energy. So everything in the universe is but energy. And there is no doubt that human mind is a construct of finest type of energy – energy of thoughts, ideas, and notions.

Yes we are energy and you would know this by the fact that sometimes you can feel your skin crawl when you get afraid or whatever, this is your energy within you that you are feeling. But we are alos so much more then energy, we are people that have emotions and we love, we cry, we mourn, we are so much more then all this Scientific stuff. We are from God. And we will return to God one Day. Maybe not in these bodies but we will still be here if we just believe in Him and his Son, Jesus Christ.

Hi, yes we are energy- and that is what is so beautiful. And energy cannot be destroyed it just changes. Which is how science- in my humble opion- helps prove that we can go on after life- we are just placed elswhere.

Read Dan Brown's Angels and Demons- he talks alot about us all as energy- it's a really nice read :)

As a living organism, we are simply energy in its purest form. Our physical appearance is nothing but an overcoat to house this enery ...... and as such, everybody is linked to everyone else ( but they will never know it ) by the ether, or the energy medium that bathes us all. When this energy is positive, we create, we excel, we build skyscrapers, rockets to the moon, develop scientific wonder, or simply do good .... when it is negative, we steal, we murder, we suffer gross illness ....... so, isn't it time that mankind harnessed and fully understood what we are about .... to make the world a better place?

No. simply enough we are not. We are more like a storage vessel of energy though. We take in energy from everything we consume, be it food or drink, and then we store that to use to do everything in our life. Everytime you move any muscle in your body its using energy thats stored in us.
You could say we are a rechargable battery, we recharge by eating, and we discharge by living and moving about and even just sitting down watching TV.
Hope that helps
