I don't know...I'm a fan but I just can't say yes. You see, people criticise Kobe so much, you drive the person too much. And that will make him the greatest. Coz' Kobe has done so many good things in his career that people have forgotten since Lebron and D-Wade came. He had done so many out-of-this world moves in the court. You should give the guy some props. I think it is because of Kobe why Lebron became a NBA player while still in high school. Some day, I think Kobe will be the best. Coz' the man will not stop 'till he reaches the top, be the measuring stick, be the best.

Kobe is definetely NOT the best basketball player ever. Maybe he is the best "21" player ever. The guy never saw a shot he didn't like. He can be TRIPLE TEAMED AND STILL ATTEMPT A DAMNED SHOT! He is almost sickening for basketball purists to watch.

Listen, few people in the know will ever discuss Kobe as being the "Best Ever" off the record until he improves he shooting percentage. He shoots an embarrassing 45% from the field. If you check the stats, most players in the "greatest ever" conversation shoot 48% or better.

The Lakers winning percentage is higher when HE IS INJURED AND NOT PLAYING COMPARED TO WHEN HE IS AVAILABLE. I think that is the most telling stat of all!

My prediction for the rest of Kobe's career. He will NEVER see another NBA title as a starter. It's not "hating" either it's just what I see for him based upon his unwillingness to get his teammates involved.

Yes, Kobe is by far the best player in the NBA. For those ignorant few of you who cal lhim a "hog". You could not be farther from the truth. He plays for his team and for his city. He does not play for personal glory and when he played with guys who could actually score, like shaq, Rick Fox, Derek Fisher, and even robert Horry you better believe teh guy gave up the ball and if you dont, look at the numbers. Kobe is a tremendous players and will surely take over the NBA this year!

I am going to say Lebron James is the better all-around player. Kobe is not a team player, unlike Lebron. Kobe thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread when in reality he isn't. Lebron is not full of himself and he is not a ball hog like Kobe is.

Kobe is a good player, but he is not a team player, i look at the fact if a player is a team player and not a ball hog

Kobe is the significant acceptable. he's he maximum acceptable. seem on the stuff he has to do. do no longer argue Wade and Kobe, Wade had Shaq to win, precise so did Kobe yet he wasn't the significant acceptable then! yet Now he's. he's basically unstoppable. Lebron performs in a branch the position a crew over 500 might want to wish to make the playoffs. Kobe performs in a branch the position a crew over 500 will bypass over the playoffs. So for him to take his crew to the eighth spot and bypass 7 video games hostile to phx thats plenty. Ohh do no longer ignore that about 0.5 of their losses were 5 pts or a lot less. that takes position to first timers. yet next season thats arising, he will have more desirable proper crew chemistry and sport enthusiasts are going to b more desirable effective and it truly is going to b more desirable proper. Oh yeah. and imagine of bout 80 one pts in a interest, who cares if its the Raptors, 80 one pts.. Jordan scored sixty 3 in 2 overtimes. He outscored Dallas( the west. conf champ) on the authentic of the thirrd quarter all with the help of himself! so comon provide him the credit. Peopel call him a ball hog, yet is there each human being he can pass to that would want to really score? did u did u no longer see the interest 7 as hostile to phx? He exceeded it soo plenty they could no longer score, if he mandatory he might want to wish to've achieved stuff. really he lost ppl declaring Kobe did no longer do something, then possible dropping Kobe ball hogged he sohuld've exceeded it and they could have received. little question he's the significant acceptable in our time precise now. Lebron is basically too youthful.

In all of history... no hes behind a nice sized line. theres basically most of the all-star/hall of famers ahead of him. but thats in the past.

as of now scoring wise i would say that hes is probibly the best but there are others as good. the others (not in any order) are AI, LeBron, Dirk N, Dwade, Carmelo, and Areanas. those guy are also crazy scoring machines

so to answer your your question No kobe is not the best player, but he could be(mostly b/c he could get a bit selfish at time), and until he proves other wise which i belive he can (in assist and better D) he is only one of the best scorers and almost nothing else.

I'm sure he thinks he is. More importantly the question I would ask would be, is he a team player?? The answer is absolutely NOT! He may have great talent but he certainly is not the best TEAM player.
