Let cosx =t

Then 4 t^2 +root(3)=2(root3+1).t

Arrange the terms to left

a=4
b=-2(root3+1)
c=root3

diskriminant= b^2-4ac
root discriminant==root(2). (1-root3) in the simplest form.

Hint: find the root of (2-root3)
Use the formula to fint t.
cosx=t
t=arc cos x
